Going Home!

We celebrated the finish of our tour with a fabulous French dinner in St Tropez: Plateau de fruits de mer.. with truffle fries, Sancerre and extra Fin de Claires. Simply delicious.

We drove home after a nice French breakfast, shopping cheese in an amazing cheese store, tomatoes & artichokes. Trying to elongate the mediterranean flair by taking items home with us. The drive itself was very long and annoying.. after 1500km of mountains and beautiful views, standing for hours in traffic was hard.. but we finally made it home by 8pm. Once we got to Switzerland we had a final 'mountain pass', this time through the 17km Gotthard tunnel though :-)

Reviewing together our experience the last few days, we both agreed that it was a stunning, simply amazing experience. The rides and views were spectacular, in particular the Stelvio and Colle dell'Assietta. The overall rally experience was fantastic as well: we together had a very good time, meeting so many rally members and hearing about their experiences, having a chat with such a diverse and international teams, enjoying evenings or a cup of coffee together. Very different to last year, this one was all about stunning views and drives and sharing that amongst us as well as the other teams. We are very grateful to have had the opportunity to make this experience.
