The Car

Hans and Sabine bought the ML320 in Goldens Bridge, NY as our first family car after moving from Germany to the US. It was our first SUV, and finally a car that was very comfortable for the very tall Hans.. getting in and out w/o problems and tons of storage room for all the purchases we had to make to get settled in the US. It turned out that I prefer driving a smaller car, the SUV always seemed to be too big for me. Hans though loved the car.. so it got limited milage on since we drove mostly in my car. We bought it in 2018 with 33K miles or 53K km and shipped it with us to Zurich in 2018 with 88K km! Not often that you find a car as well maintained as our 'Bullie' with so little milage.

In Zurich, where we hardly use any car at all, we decided it is time to sell Bullie. We listed the car for sale on a website.. and to our surprise, we got many inquiries the same day. Ines was the first and she and Claudia wanted to come by the next evening. We almost had sold it by then.. but the young chap who wanted it.. got cold feet with buying the car without a trailer hitch.. So.. Ines and Claudia bought it!
