Amalfi to San Marino and then to ?

Although the Jupiter's Flash Rally goes from the Dolomites to Sciliy, we - for personally - had decided to cut it short and to head back North on the 7th day...

The intention was to leave Amalfi early to avoid the heavy traffic. We got up at 6am (yes!!!) and went for a swim in the ocean ... alone (which was really nice) before being on the road at 7am. Only set goal for the day was to head towards San Marino to visit a country to which we both had never been to...

Today highways were allowed and by 1pm we reached the Adriatic coast for a quick lunch before heading off to San Marino.

Since it was still early we continued heading towards Switzerland..

With traffic jams around Bologna and Milano, we reached Switzerland at around 8pm.

And were home at midnight after 1'200km...

And with that another great rally ended....

We saw beautiful and new landscapes and ate great food... we spent a lot of time together in the car listening and signing old Italian songs, had good conversations, a lot of laughs, made tacky tourist pictures and some fun videos of the day,

we had beautiful surprises during the rally, and so so many new impressions in only 7 days, mastered technical challenges and most importantly returned safely home...

A big thank you goes to the SAC team for putting together this wonderful rally and to our friends for the donations that were made to EndPolioNow.

Ines thank you for a great week. After the rally is before the rally ... we look forward to the next one...
