Getting ready for the Mountain Rally!!!

Claudia signed us up for the Mountain Rally, while we would have liked to do the European 5000 Rally, it just doesn't work for us given personal circumstances. But a 4 day rally we can always do. Ines unfortunately had already other plans and hence we are a smaller team this time. As so often, the first steps are cumbersome: changing the website, deciding which car we will use, organizing the fundraiser, ordering stuff to dress up the car etc. We have to get back into the swing to get these things done easily.. I am sure we will!

Sunday prior to the start, Claudia and Sabine met to discuss what we'll need to order and pack.. we also decided to take the same car as last time, versus going with a Alfa Spider.. too loud, too risky going through fog and snow in the mountains. On the other hand, this means we really don't have to think a lot how to pack efficiently.. the Bullie will easily accommodate all our stuff.

So a day before we leave, the car needs to change its appearance. Ines kept our car over the winter.. neat and clean. Sabine has the task to dress it up and her husband Hans helped.. here are the results after 2.5 hours of work:
